Calling CRM: the lead distribution app that puts every lead on a phone

A lead distribution app is software that hands each new enquiry to a specific salesperson, so every lead has one owner and nobody calls the same person twice. Calling CRM assigns leads round-robin and drops them into each caller’s queue.

TL;DR · SHORT ANSWER

What is a lead distribution app?

A lead distribution app assigns incoming leads to team members by a rule, such as taking turns. Calling CRM sends them round-robin to each caller’s phone queue.

Benefits

Lead distribution app benefits for team owners

When leads are shared fairly and fast, callers start on time and nobody argues about ownership.

Fair round-robin split

Leads from a live sheet or webhook are handed out in turn across the team.

Personal queues

Every caller opens the app to their own pending list, not a shared pile.

A Done tab with proof

Finished leads carry a label saying whether a dialer session, a tap-to-call, a manual tick or a handover closed them.

Clean transfers

Move a lead to a colleague and keep the transfer history on the record.

Owner visibility

Team call logs show which assigned leads were actually called.

How it works

How does the lead distribution app work in Calling CRM?

Sources feed in, rules split the leads, callers work them.

  1. Connect a source

Add a live Google Sheet or a custom webhook in the Web CRM and map the columns.

  2. Turn on round-robin

New rows are assigned to team members in turn and land in their queues.

  3. Work and track

Callers dial their queue; finished leads move to Done with how they were closed.

Round robin lead assignment from sheets and webhooks

Round-robin means taking turns: lead one to Asha, lead two to Bilal, lead three to Chen, then back to Asha. In Calling CRM it works on the live sources set up in the Web CRM, a custom webhook or a live sheet, so new rows are spread across the team as they arrive.

Leads from IndiaMART, JustDial or Facebook reach the app through a Google Sheet, so they can be split the same way. The Google Sheets lead import page covers column mapping and skipped rows.

Lead distribution software that ends on a phone

Most lead distribution software stops once a lead is assigned in a web dashboard. A caller still has to find it, copy the number and dial. In Calling CRM the assigned lead is already in the caller’s pending queue on their phone, and the queue can be run with the auto dialer.

When the lead is worked it moves to the Done tab, labelled with how it was completed. A manager can tell a lead that was really called from one that was simply marked done.

Lead assignment app rules for transfers and leave

Transfer

Hand a lead to another team member; the transfer history shows who held it and when.

Remarks travel with it

The new owner sees the earlier remarks on their next call with that lead.

Owner filter

Use the whose lead filter to review one caller’s queue or reassign it in bulk.

Lead distribution app example: a property agency in Dubai

ILLUSTRATION, NOT A NAMED CUSTOMER

A property agency in Dubai collects enquiries from a website form into a live sheet, about 90 a day across 6 agents. The owner switches on round-robin in the Web CRM, so each agent receives about 15 new leads a day, in turn.

Each agent opens their pending queue at 10 am and runs the auto dialer on it. When an agent goes on leave, the owner filters by that agent’s name and transfers the open leads to two colleagues; the history on each lead shows the move.

At the end of the week the Done tab shows, per agent, how many leads were completed by a call and how many were only marked done.

FAQ

Lead distribution app FAQ

What is the best lead distribution app for a calling team?

For a team that sells by phone, the best lead distribution app puts each assigned lead straight into the caller’s phone queue. Calling CRM does that with round-robin assignment and a Done tab.

Is Calling CRM a lead distribution app?

Yes. Calling CRM is a lead distribution app that assigns leads to team members, round-robin from live sources, and gives each caller a pending queue.

What is round robin lead assignment?

Round robin lead assignment hands new leads to team members in turn, so each person gets an equal share in the order leads arrive.

Which lead sources can be assigned round-robin?

Custom webhook and live sheet sources set up in the Web CRM support round-robin assignment.

Can I assign a lead to a specific person?

Yes. Assign chosen leads to a named team member, and they appear in that person’s pending queue.

What is the Done tab?

It is the second half of each caller’s queue. Worked leads move there with the route that closed them, so you can tell a dialled lead from one ticked by hand or passed to a colleague.

Can a lead be moved to another salesperson?

Yes. Transfer the lead and the transfer history is kept on the record.

Does the new owner see the old notes after a transfer?

Yes. Remarks stay on the lead and show on the next call, whoever makes it.

Can I see all leads owned by one caller?

Yes. Use the whose lead filter to list every lead that belongs to one team member.

Can callers dial their assigned leads automatically?

Yes. The auto dialer can run on assigned leads, calling them one by one.

Does lead distribution software need a desktop?

Sources are set up in the Web CRM, but callers receive and work their leads on the phone app.
